Taylor and April Locke met in the charming and historic city of Savannah, GA while both attending the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). It was there that they fell in love, got engaged and began making all natural soaps and herbal body care products with their small side business, 'humblelove.'
They were married amidst hay bales and bare feet on a beautiful afternoon in October of 2013 on Taylor's family property right outside of Caldwell, TX.
Shortly after, in March of 2014, they felt lead to pack up after 8 years in Savannah and move to the small town of Caldwell in search of fresh air and a fresh start, ready to focus on beginning their family and taking humblelove from a side business to a full time endeavor.
It didn't take long at all for them to meet some amazing new friends who helped them feel right at home.
Four years later after a few adventures, including art installations in Hong Kong, a pop up shop in Lacoste, France, managing the local antique store, 'Bill and Tills', the birth of their two boys, Elijah & Silas, Taylor and April have now merged their love for all things handmade with their own small business inside of their own brick & mortar, 'the humble life.'
